Are there any plans for a re-run of the Pilar in S35VN? I'd really like to snag one, and as you all know, they simply cannot be had.

This does not mean that there will not be special factory orders for another steel in the larger one. The standard offering will be the Chinese stainless and D2, but someone will most likely offer it in the S35VN just like the little guy.

Funny thing is that the “large” one is still pretty small!! I like the little guy, but a bit bigger one might be good, too!

Yeah, maybe, and they'll sell out in 18 minutes and never be stocked again. :-/

I feel silly now for having purchased the stock pilar; A larger flipper version is a significantly more enticing option.

Yet another data point for the negative effects of being an early adopter.

You got the pleasure of using it when you did, and you can sell it on the folder forum. And if it's S35VN, sell it to me!

Too bad crkt makes them. Bad quality. Low end materials. S35vn doesn't make up for any of that. And on top of that it's expensive in comparison to other knives that are just better in these respects. But with the current market if you even whisper s35vn, m390, or anything else trending it sells out. Hateraid or truth? If bestech, real Steel, we knives, anyone else made this model it could be worth it.

I have the earlier Sandvik BHQ exlcusive. It's not bad quality. It's actually quite nice. My only complaint is that it's ground too thick.
I agree that WE has really upped the ante on delivering value. The Civivi line is really well done.
