i have a ripple. If i wasn't so drawn to larger folders, i'd love it. There's just nothing bad to say about it.

it's as smooth as silk, hair popping sharp, and very well built. It's just too small for me, so i've never used it for anything

I don't know about the Ripple, but you can't go wrong with the Blur for a mid size folder.

Well since the S30v Blur was in your thread from three hours ago asking the same question, I'd say you should get that.

Not to mention his user name is spyderco lover, yet none of his knife choices are spyderco..

I sense a need for Ritalin or Adderall - whatever it takes to help you stay focused. Are you going on a massive knife-buying splurge? Recent threads:

1) CRKT Ripplel vs S30V Blur vs CRKT Shenanigan
2) zt 200 vs griptilan vs Spyderco manix2 vs blur s30v vs leek s30v g10
3) Esee izula vs BenchmadeNim club ll
4) should i get spyderco tasman h1 or black kershaw blur
5) which should i get benchmade mpr or benchmade 950 rift
6) best knives under 50 dollars
7) which should i get (where you ask about " benchmade bone collector or spyderco manix2 xl or zt 0200 or 950 rift")

You are both amusing and perplexing.

Id rather have 5 excellent knives than 500 so-so knives. I would recommend increasing your pricepoint and getting something that will smoke them all.

I sense a fraud. His profiles says he's a Marine Biologist, but his grammar is that of a ten year old!

drama aside, I can't speak to the others but I never carry my Ripple only because of the pocket clip. Tip down and it feels weak... maybe the blur? If you can increase the pricepoint and you'll get your value and more. Just grabbed a para 2 and it is almost 3 times the price of my ripple, but more than 3 times the knife... so I carry it, but the Ripple has not left my drawer in months. Or on a budget, I can't speak to the Blur, but I love my Skyline, Leek, and Shallot
