I heard somewhere that the Damascus blade is made of a Stainless 10Cr15CoMoV Core with 3Cr13 and 304 Stainless Steel Layers added in, is this a decent combo? I know 3Cr13 needs to be sharpened a lot and 304 is the most common stainless steel. Any help would be appreciated, itll probably see heavy use if that helps

I have a regular ritual and I would definitely not consider it for heavy use. Interesting looking design, but typical crkt build quality (meh)

I think you may have heard it here… on Sunday.

That being said, I wouldn’t trust most CRKT products over others available for “heavy use”, much less a damascus or pattern welded blade.

I bought one crkt knife years ago.

Seemed like it had all the things I liked, opened nice, good feeling handle.

But the steel sucked, started to fall apart after a few months (this was back when I only had 1 pocket knife because I was poor).

Shoulda bought a spyderco. But I wanted to try something different.
