Does anyone have any in depth information, or even owned one of these knives? Walmart has the +P for 29$ and I'm thinking of getting one.

I don't have any experience with that particular knife, although in my experience (which is rather limited, relative to CRKT) CRKT does an ok job of building usually pretty well designed knives with poor materials - and then charges way too much for them. For that amount of money, if you pull the trigger (pun intended) on it and you don't like it, you're only out about $30, and if you do like it, then great, more power to you! However, with that being said, you could probably do better looking elsewhere (Kershaw perhaps?) or saving a little more for something exponentially better.

Sidenote: Looked it up and it has a blade length of just over 3.5" but weighs 6oz! If nothing else, it's definitely solid!

I wouldn't honestly suggest getting CRKT folders - really, ever. I've been burned every time. I had a pair of CRKT Erasers that I loved everything but the build quality of. Everything from the terrible paint on the clips to the wandering lockbar position on the tang told me "this is not a knife that will last."

Their fixed blades, though, are a different story.

My general experience has been that CRKT makes folders of varying quality using terrible materials at a worse price, but, completely mystifyingly, simultaneously makes well-priced high-quality fixed blades.

Tell me, how is it that the same company that makes this ill-fated knife:

Also manufactures this?

Because people will pay 80$ for an aus 8 blade with teflon washers for the newest technology.

I must say my crkt fossil is beautifully built. Ikbs ball bearing flipper with a frame lock. Seems just as well put together as any of my other knives, and less movement than my 225$ when new Masters of Defense knife. Now the m16-01s on the other hand is one of my least favorite knives I own.
