I just bought myself a CRKT Bear Claw (Razor edge). The first thing I did was to cut myself in the finger with the tip. It is a very sharp knife, with hard steel. The blade is bent like a bear claw, hence it's name. There is a hole that allows a firm grip that won't let you lose it.

I have totally fallen in love with the knife, and I think it is a great utility knife.
It is also great as a backup survival knife. I have seen complaints on the sheath, but I don't see any problems with it (yet).

In addition to great quality and strong steel, it looks very cool. I mean, the knife litterally smells of respect. Although smaller than expected, it makes quite an impression.

I recommend this knife as a neck knife and as a backup survival knife, as well as a utility knife.

(Sorry for any faults in the post, as this is my first one at the forum.)

One of the nice things about that design is that the grip extends into the back of the hole, a lot of knives with similar design just have that area blade stock of the steel which doesn't have the same ergonomics.

It's a great little knife for the whole 23 bucks it cost me, it's comfy in hand and has tons of cutting power. The blade doesn't hold an edge like crazy, but is easy to sharpen back to razor sharp. The sheath could be better, the clip doesn't hold the blade on my belt strong enough to keep from coming right off of it when trying to draw the knife. And it's kind of clunky and thick to use for neck carry, I was toying with the idea of having a Kydex sheath made for it. But like I said it's a great knife for the price.
