When i bought my m-16 a few years ago, about a month after purchase the 1 screw that holds the clip on came loose. I tightened the other 2 but they eventually came loose without me noticing it and i lost eh screws but i somehow have the clip. What size screws do i need. And where can i get them. I dont want to send back to company as i have changed it about a bit.

Send it in, you aren't responsible for the screws coming out. I have a CRKT Mirage with that problem, I haven't gotten around to sending it in but from what I hear their CS is first rate.

Blue locktite should solve that problem.
But yea, give them a call, if you don't want to send it in, ask them to send you the screws. They'll send it.

How's the M-16 gone over the 2 years JD? Just ordered one myself to replace a lost EDC, hoping I'll get some use out of it long term. What's your lock-up like?

Its been a great little knife. I replaced it with my kershay blackout. which i love. I just got it out and it locks great. Very smooth and a very loud lock up. There in no blade wobble and it has a very stout blade, quite thick tanto style. One thing i didnt like was the chisel edge. It seemed to dull quicker so I am in the process of putting a convex grind on it. maybe i am wrong. I will make a list for you

pro
strudy
string tip
heavy
string lockup
dmooth action

con
heavy
chisel grind
handle seems a little small for large blade
clip came off

hows that!

No, I only recall that the CRKT M16 had chisel edges.
But still the M16 tends to cut into one certain direction.
I think some of the plain edges might be a regular edge.
Grinds are Tanto - Flat Sabre, and the other one is a Spear point.
