I believe the Stiff KISS has been discontinued for sometime. In today's news paper, one of the local sporting goods store has them advertised for $15. Do you think they found some old inventory lying around, or is there a possibility these are counterfeit?
 
Possibly old inventory. Mine came with a cast plastic sheath that allowed SOB carry and some other options.

Sales weren't gangbusters in the day, but that may not be enough to keep someone from copying it. Look over the packaging, CRKT doesn't stint on quality there. An enclosed flyer describing their knives in the day would be good confirmation it's legit. A faker wouldn't bother to dupe it as so many of those knives would be out of production.

$15 is about cost. Probably just cleaning off the shelves.
 
Well I now own one in a Tonto blade and standard curved blade. Both had quality packaging, and the CRKT color flier advertising other knives.

i have a stiff kiss and wasnt impressed, IIRC i paid $25 or so for mine so $15 imho aint a smoking deal, its probably about what the thing is worth lol, though i like some of the FB CRKT's the kiss aint one of 'em.
