Not a CRKT guy, but was looking for a specific type of blade and handle profile for small FB edc. The new Siwi fits. This is NIB overview and pics only, haven't tested cutting performance. Only observation at this point is the grip and ergos are best of any knife of this size that I've had.

Specs:
  • Steel: SK5
  • Weight: 5.95oz, 7.15oz with sheath.
  • OAL: 7.25"
  • Blade length: 3.34"
  • Cutting edge: 3.0"
  • Handle length: 3.91" (when you add the choil it's 4+" of grip area)
  • Thickness at spine: 0.20"
  • Handle thickness: 0.72"

Not a bad looking knife, the carving of the scales looks ugly to me bug overall I'd probably buy this if it was say $20

I agree the scales look odd, but the handle sure looks ergonomic. Overall reminds me of a Guardian 3.

$65 for a CRKT small fixed blade? What are they thinking? That is Izula II territory. A number of Beckers would be a far better deal.

Nice looking knife but it appears to me that CRKT doesn't get that they are CRKT and why.

$59 for mine, but agree, there are similarly priced blades available. The differentiator on this one, for me, was the specific grip profile, deep choil, and wider scales. That's what I was after.

To finish out the story on this one, I ended up having to return, the sheath retention was terrible. So, the experiment is over. Sadly, my earlier view of CRKT quality was somewhat reinforced by this sample of one.

Not uprising and this is why CRKT asking this much for their products is ridiculous. I've had around 10 or so CRKT fixed blades and only one had acceptable retention on the sheath. If they want to compete in the enthusiast market they need to do better.

They consistently over charge and under deliver.
