My grandson just bought a CRKT Stiff Kiss, it is the non-tanto model. It doesn't have any serrations, and I haven't been able to find this model. Is anyone familiar with it?

If it's the one pictured below (not my pic, just one I found online), then yes, that would be the 2350 model, which was the drop point, plain edge version of the knife. I had the plain edge tanto version years ago, but it got misplaced somewhere along the way. 😥

I believe the sheath is correct for this one too. I think they just made the tanto sheath and supplied them with both models, tanto and drop.

edit: If you're looking to perhaps get hold of another one for yourself, these are older knives that are long discontinued, but they do show up on ebay or at used knife sites on rare occasions. Original price was something in the $30 range, iirc, but idk what they go for used nowadays if you can find one.

AUS6 steel - not too bad for its time.
I have one somewhere around the house. I have one or two of the Tanto style also.

I got them back in my "kneck knives" days - which were also "let's see how many knives I can carry at one time" days.
My late father in law used to get a kick out of me sitting at the kitchen table at his place and pulling knife, after knife, after knife, after knife,,, etc about and putting them in front of me on the table.

$10 is a great price for one! I'd give that today in a heartbeat.
Despite the fact that CRKT made them. (even a blind squirrel as they say/// ;) )

For $10: he did good... REAL good!

For sure. Although I didn't know what the going rate was for a used one at the time of my above post, I assumed it would be a good deal more than the original price. I've since searched it out and found a couple older ebay auctions where used Stiff Kisses in good shape were going for nearly $60.

I had the tanto model back in the day. I remember buying it at Big5 for $15. It was a cool little knife; paracord wrapped the handle and did the neck knife thing for a while. $10 is a great price for a decent knife!

I also have a few of the ones sold at Big5. Tanto with a partial serrated blade. Blade is a dark grey color and sheath has no cut out in one corner like the one pictured earlier.

Btw, if you're wondering at the odd name, it comes from Ed Halligan's original K.I.S.S. (Keep It Super Simple) folder. Since this one was a fixed blade instead of a folder, they went with Stiff K.I.S.S. Just a bit of Halligan/CRKT trivia. 👍
