This thing is awesome. It's sold, throws well, and came acceptably sharp. For us knife nuts though, it was mediocre. About fifteen licks on an Arkansas stone and a quick stropping on my 1930's strop, linen then leather, and this thing will cut your soul if you stare at it. I've already made some good feather sticks and cut some notches. Don't believe the reviews on amazon, the Velcro strips are plenty big for ankle carry. In fact, the only way I can tell I'm wearing it is the weight. The grip is solid and it fits my hand well with no hot spots. I wear size 13 ring and large gloves. Retention is awesome. The knife only comes out when you want it to.
