CRKT triumph neck knife

I am a fan of crkt in general but wary of the triumph neck.
The knife shop I went to reported that the cord wrap version kept getting returned after a while due to the knife eventually constantly popping out the sheath.
The one with out the cord wrap is dangerous to use in SD as it is pure metal with no guard (hands get sweaty ... etc.. you know the story)
personally I'd rather spend a tad more and get one of the CS neck knives with secure EX sheath

Good post. Been looking at the same knife but upon reading all the negative reviews regarding the sheath I couldn't pull the trigger. Perhaps I will get it with the thought of an after market sheath being made up for it, some of our fine BF members are great Kydez benders.
