CRKT Ultima

I have one, fits nicely in the hand. That handle, while a bit different, does work pretty nicely and is comfortable. I haven't had a chance to go out and beat with it in the woods though.

Corwise,

Do you have any idea what the charachteristcs of the metal/blade?

Have a good one,

Z

Z,

Everything I know about it I pulled off the CRKT's web site:

http://www.crkt.com/ultima.html

I have the larger size with serations, which do work great. If you'd like I can post some pics of it if you have a particular section you'd like to see a close up of, tip, handle, etc.

Really?

I find that the handle to be like holding a cheese grater for long extended use....and I'm not talking about those with soft, girly hands. I believe the Ultima was also tested during that USMC Force Recon knife test(.....the one which led to the development of BRKT's Bravo 1)...and they said the same thing about the handle if I recall correctly.

The M60 on the other hand has an ok handle.

Winz,

Like I said, I haven't used it hard yet. It fits my hand nicely, contours very nice. Now if I was going to try and chop wood with it I'd wear a light pair of gloves.

I don't have an M60, so I can't compare.
