I have both of the CRKT Ryan Johnson design Chogan and Kangee T-Hawks. Inspection of the handles show neither one being of good wood-grain direction/orientation. The kangee is the best being approximately 45 degrees off direct parallel with the face. The Chogan is almost exactly perpendicular, 90 degrees to the blade face. My question to the experts here, is the handle wood-grain orientation as important with T-hawks as it is with their bigger bothers, hatchets, axes etc?
