CRKT Zilla - 2 thumbs down

We recently purchased both sizes of the CRKT Zilla for my wife to try out. We wound up throwing them away. Both felt cheaply made. The pliers were unimpressive. The blade was mediocre and awkward to use. The bit drivers were also awkward to use. The bits would not stay in the small tool when we tried to use them. The bits in the large tool had very weak retention.
Both tools were larger than other multitools that offer similar features.

Before throwing them away, I tried to give them to three different people. All three tried them and said they did not want them. Not exactly a resounding recommendation.

Thanks for the review. At one time I considered buying this, but stopped by lack of review. Now I know why.

They did seem to miss the boat on the zilla. "Unimpressive" is certainly a valid description.

The are awfully bulky, big, and heavy to be just pliers, blade and a screw driver...and none of the 3 inspire confidence.

About the only plus is that they are relatively inexpernsive....but there are so many better choices.

Don't know that I would have thrown it away, stuck away in the glove compartment it might come in handy some day...it's better than useing just your hands.

Eventho it would have cost more $, you'd have been ALOT better off buying a set of Leatherman Juice for you & your wife.
