Has anyone had experience with either of these? I like the more compact size of these multi-purpose knife tools over a true multi-tool (which I still have in my BOB). Any comments or feedback on either of these would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Search function works for the X-tract. I should have went there first. duh!

Is the Zilla-Tool out yet?

Anyway; some important differences between the two knives: (from what I can see about the Zilla-Tool on CRKT's webpage and my own experience with the X-tract.)

-The X-tract is made in China, the Zilla is made in Taiwan.
-The X-tract is currently offered in at least 3 different handles colors, all I've seen thus far is one color but a different finish for the Zilla.
-The Pliers on the X-tract retract into the handle while the pliers on the Zilla merely lock shut but continue to jut from the handle.
-The Zilla features a flipper for the main blade.
-The Zilla features a pocket-clip (looks to be ambidextrous!!!).
-The Zilla features a bit-driver.
-Both the X-tract and the Zilla-Tool are to featue spring loaded pliers and this is a big +++.

My personal experiences:

The X-tract is a good light-use urban tool, I would carry it into Atlanta to poke around with but would not toss it in my truck when I head to North Carolina to camp. My main gripe with the X-tract is that the pliers are designed in such a way as to prevent one from ergonomically applying great amounts of force to the handle, such as when squeezing to remove the glass breaker from the new Victorinox Rescue Tool. As it stands the X-tract is a very neat, modern piece of gear that is something cool to give as a gift to a non-knife-nut but just does not cut it for me. I realy wanted to love it and use it all the time because it was designed so well, but it was just too lefty-unfriendly and the lack of a pocket clip really killed it for me as an EDC item. I mainly use it as a Theft-Loss-Confiscation knife.

From what I have been able to find out the Zilla-Tool actually isn't going to be released until April so your choice may be easier depending on the time contraints you feel.
