Crkt

Got a picture? If its not too serious, I am sure a maker here could just reprofile the tip, and you wouldn't lose much blade at all. I would recommend RichardJ.

So I have a hissatsu folder with a broken tip. the tip is only broken a few cm. I was wondering is any good knife maker able to fix this even though its a crazy blade shape and how much blade length would i lose? Is this an expensive fix or should i just buy a new knife.. I cant believe crkt cant stand up for their products and replace my knife how can they expect me to use this in a life or death tactical situation when the blade breaks, It doesn't make sense. What did they intend me to use this knife for? opening mail and cutting open boxes? i don't think so.

You meant millimeters, right? I wouldn't even bother trying to repair the knife if you snapped off a few centimeters. And how'd you break the tip? What were you doing with the knife?

Some good, sturdy folders come with different strengths. My old Native had a great splinter picker, spine tickler tip but I would be more careful with it than I would it's old school Endura cousin or my current Mini Recon spearpoint.

Same thing with my Vaquero, Large Voyager...I'm hard on rest of the blade but careful with the tip. It's a bull but more fragile, snake tooth kind of tip. Have even made it intentionally thinner and more acute.
