I'm finding myself in need of a crook knife but which one is more versatile, full curve or half curve?

Thanks,

What do you plan to make with the knife? For evening out long pieces of wood a half curve would be better fitting (think Ray Mears' birch bark canoe). If you want to make wooden bowls or a kuksa or something like that, go with a full curve. Eventually you'll get them both. Knives lead to more knives, I think we all know :)

half curve lets you get into corners.
I find full curve to be "easier" when doing a lot of stock removal because the pull is centered better.
