After a month of mulling between G10/Dymondwood, I finally adopted a 15080 Crooked River. Crookie sounds better =)

She's taller than her dad and got the nose of her mom.

Considering getting her new real wood scales in the future, and maybe some jimping on the bolters.

Beautiful knife, I am absolutely delighted by my new BM!

Wow. I've thought those were sweet looking. I didn't realize they were that big. I like it.

I knew you'd love it FMJ!!!
Doesn't it feel great in your hand??

Oooops! Hit reply too quickly!
It has some weight, but the balance is so damn good it feels like a feather in hand!
Thinking a set of custom scales would make this knife insane cool!!
Carry it and use it FMJ......you'll love it more and more! It's an extremely capable and sexy knife!!
Yeah.....I really like mine!

You were right, of course I love this blade :)
Actually it's really light, maybe too much... This is why I just ordered a 757 haha
I'm wondering how it manage strong efforts apart from skinning deers.
Gonna shave some kindlings tomorrow when I'll start the stove and see how the feeling is for such a task. If not, it will definitely use it as my sandwich/table knife. It sure is a great steak and cheese knife.
But overall this is a beautiful dressed up big country girl for sure!

Crooked River (g10) was my first BM. I now have about a half dozen BM on the ol' wishlist, despite mixed reviews here at the forums regarding QC.

She certainly is a beast of a folder.

Looking good. I used dark brown Rit Dye to dye the backspacer. It looks like woodgrain with the Orange accents showing slightly. Made it look similar to the limited dealer version with the wood backspacer.

It's giant but seems very light compared to the 110, and the blade certainly dwarfs it too.

It was a toss-up between the G10 and wood scales... I got the wood model but I think I should have gotten the G10, they look great in these pics. Either way, great knife.

I hate grey so I dyed the scales blue, and used an artists marker to color the backspacer a brown/copper color. I tried to dye it blue but it would not take. Love the blue g10.
