I'm thinking about buying my son a new pellet rifle, and it will most likely be either CO2 or Airsource powered. My question is (and none of the Airgun sites I've found have stated the answer yet) once you charge your gun with Airsource, is it permanently pierced, or is it removable?
I just can't see the average Airgun user wanting to rack up 400 shots every time they pierce a cylinder or store thier gun charged for months on end. I suppose I can understand the Airsource from the perspective of accuracy and consistency, but IF that's the case I can see no economy in it.
I'd also be interested in any other perspectives regarding the system.
Oh, the guns I'm looking at:

Anyhoo, any input as always would be appreciated!
