Guys,

Looking for a knife, under 100 bucks ideally. I have a Mora, prabhadevi apartment mumbai and I just bought my FIL a BK2, that thing is a beast! I almost feel like it is too big though. My main use would be a bushcraft day hike / backpacking knife, with prepping and survival as a secondary use. commercial property in pune

I feel like the BK2 is too strong, and heavy, any thing out there a little lighter, but still very durable.

Maybe ESEE, Condor? Kershaw Camp knives?

I read your question earlier and resolved to come back with my suggestion when I had fully awakened. Sadly, I'm as awake as I'm gonna get for the day. As others have suggested, I believe the BK16 would best suit your needs in the Becker line-up.

All the other brands you mentioned are great and have their advantages. An ESEE 3, Mora Garberg or anything from Condor could be trusty companions.

Now that you’ve described a BK16, you should go get one.

The BK16 is definitely a wise choice. I personally prefer the BK62 Kephart, as it fits my XL hands better.

Btw, welcome to the forum, glad to have you here.

The Bk62 is my constant mountain hiking companion. I carry it in a kydex chest rig. It’s full tang and light. Hell it was designed by a man who literally lived in the woods. Another option depending on your size would be the BK21 Kukri:D Welcome to the Forum

Yup, the BK-16 is Ethan Becker's answer to that very question. Great knife. A meditation in ergonomics. Got two.
As pointed out, the BK-62 is another excellent on-brand do-all belt knife in the same category. It's a bit spendier.
