Doing this pair for a retired NYC firefighter who doesn't know he is getting them. I wanted to do something very neat for the handle material, and have been thinking about it for months. They are made from ATS34, living in the middle of the damn desert, I have the benefit of getting all of the ironwood that I can carry so I am kinda jaded to how good looking it can be. I did some experimenting with a nice piece tried cutting at an angle (which I haven't done before) and scored with some very nice scales, atleast I think so. Only one is done but wanted to post anyway. Frank Eaton

Yeah, if you get really tired of collecting and storing all that free ironwood, ship some to Ft Benning. I PROMISE it'll be here when you need it......

Your knives are looking awesome.

Very nice, gives me an idea of what to do with an iron wood post if I ever get it. Nice shape and design, very classy.
