Nice knife. It's light (4.5 ozs.) so would make a nice companion to a fixed blade. It is a right-handed one hand opener but can be opened left handed with your index finger. Has a pocket clip (I carry mine clipped to the upper pocket of my M-65 field jacket.) It also has a lanyard hole so it could be carried in the bottom of a pocket with the end of the lanyard sticking out for easy retrieval. Mine has positive locking liners and no blade play at all. What looks like a gut hook is actually a zipper blade or gutting hook, it's sharpened on the inside of the hook. Works really great for cutting string, too. While I've never used the saw on bone it worked well on making walking sticks a couple times, cuts on the pull stroke. The 3" clip point blade is nicely shaped and has a perfectly even grind right out of the box, both edge and profile, came nice and sharp. Both blades are very finely bead blasted, they have a very silky feel to them. The blade steel is 420HC and while it's not up there with ATS-34 or BG-42 it will hold an edge due to Buck's excellent heat treat. Very easy to sharpen too. About the only thing I don't like about it is the smoothness of the handle, it could use some checkering for a better grip with wet hands.
All in all it's a great knife with an excellent lifetime warranty at the same price that many foreign made knives are at. I'd go ahead and pick one up.
