Crossbill Handle - Need More Grip

I have a Spyderco / Byrd Crossbill. It'a a great knife, but the all stainless handle is a bit hard to get out of my pocket if my hands are sweaty or wet. Right now I'm using black skateboard tape for better traction, but that snags on my pocket. Is there anything else that I can try for a better grip?

(I've considered sanding the metal handle down with a Dremel, but that would void the warranty.)

you can try what I did with my Chive. I used naval jelly on the handle and pocket clip. the result was a matte etched finish, with a feel a bit like an old fashioned blackboard. Much easier to grip than the stock bead blasted finish. Yes, it'll likely void the warranty.

I believe STR can "texturize" the SS handle like he's done to the Lava (check his subforums for pix)....or you could sand/beadblast the handle.... or you could wait another month or two for the G-10 Crossbill to arrive ;)
