I want to purchase a byrd crossbill ce. The picture on knifeworks.com shows the blade serrated almost all the way to the tip but on the spyderco websit its much shorter.I would buy it if the serrations were almost all the way to the tip.Can anyone help?

I had the same question.

The full serrated seems to be harder and harder to find. Most of the sites only keep combo-edges.

People on the spyderco could help you more.

I wasn't aware there was a fully serrated Crossbill. I believe they're only available in PE and CE. I could be mistaken though, stranger things have happened.;)

***Just checked the Spyderco site, there is no SE option for a Crossbill, so I don't think there was ever a SE option***

To my knowledge, there never was a SE Crossbill. Took a look at that picture on the site provided and it definitely looks like a SE. The one at knifeworks.com is listed as CE, not SE, and the model designation of PS is the same as that listed for the CE on the Spyderco online catalog.
