I was bored reading online so I grabbed my DVD of Louis L'aMour's CrossFire Trail and am watching it again. I love this movie. For those that have not seen this Western it was really well done. Guns, Saddles/tack, clothes all period accurate, Tom Selleck spent a lot of time researching and spent lots of money to make sure things were done right. He was a personal friend my Mr. L'aMour and he felt that to do his book justis he had to get things just right.

When this movie first came out on TnT my mom saw an interview in Cowboy Magazine with Tom Selleck. She knew I liked the actor and westerns so she bought the magazine for me. After reading about it in there and on TnT's website I knew I had to have it. Bought it on VHS with out even renting it first. My brother got it on DVD but didn't like it so he gave it to me. Can't figure out whats wrong with him. LOL! Everytime I see this movie I want to go out and buy a Winchester 1876 in .45-60.

I'm 30 minutes into it and not bored any more. If you have not seen it and like westerns check it out. Great movie!!

It's one of my favorite westens.

TnT's been coming out with a lot of good ones.

Crossfire Trail
Monty Walsh
Broken Trail (not Selleck, but Robert Duvall and Thomas Hayden Church do a magnificent job)

Louis L'Amour was my favorite author growing up. I once got an F on a paper in highshcool because I compared James Fenimore Cooper to L'Amour and Cooper didn't stand up too well.

Tom Selleck does a good job on westerns.
