Sog crossgrip vs. Leatherman squirt p4

Looking to buy one of these two items but I can't make the decision.Any opinions on the matter? I think the product able to stand up to the most abuse will win it for me. Also , from what I read the squirt p4 tools do not lock, what about the crossgrip?

I searched the forum for information on this comparison but found very little. Any help would be much appreciated.

I have handled several dozen Squirts and they are very well made. The Squirt is a vast improvement over the Micra. The pliers on the P4 series are small and I can't imagine they will serve well on a heavy duty basis. Overall, the Squirt is very well made.
I haven't seen nor handled the SOG yet. I can't comment on it but SOG has a reputation for producing high quality products. Why not take a chance and decide for yourself?

I have both and I prefer the Squirt. It's smaller yet the pliers are adequate for many tasks that I encounter such as pulling small nails out of the wall. All tools are accessible from the outside..... Ergonomic. Nice thing. That said, the SOG is quite handy in its own right, but I think I like the Leatherman pliers a little better.

thanks' for the info. have either of you encountered any problems with the tools or blade closing on you with the squirt or do they some how lock up in place?
