i have a buck odyssey that i purchased about a month ago. it has become my daily carry knife because it holds a good edge great multi use blade shape and just about the right blade length and the weight to size is just right out of the few knives i have so far
my question is about the lock system though i think its called the crosslock? well the blade has developed a slight up and down play and the locking liner (if looking down on the open knife into the area between the scales) now sits almost all the way up against the right hand side of the steel liner (hope i am not being to confusing)
so my question is is this lock system supposed to flex that far to the right?
it still feels fairly solid and even if it was all the way against the other liner i dont think it would disengage the blade and cause a failure but i just want to be sure its not a problem before i slice a finger heheh
any input greatly appreciated and thanks in advance
