The way these companies keep taking our money is to split up the cool features. It's all a big conspiracy! :D
You want an axis lock with a round hole?... too bad!!!
You want a 'waved' blade with a rolling lock?... too bad!!!

If you could force companies to share their patents what would you do? What great features would you stick together?

My dream team:
The Wave, the circular hole, and the axis lock... DDDRRROOOOOOLLLL...... mmmmmmmmmmm

Share your ideas so that we can all have nice dreams tonight... too bad we have to wake up.

These are some collaborations I'd like to see:

The Tim Herman/Lynn Griffith wharncliffe folder with screws.

The Les Robertson designed Vanguard/Emerson model.

The Cliff Stamp frozen unbreakable concrete cutter knife.

The Narruc/Rayjay variably priced auto collection.

The BeKnives/JustKnives/Bugs3x Knife Photo Gallery collection.

Any Knife Brian Caffrey or Nakano2 have without handle checkering.

And my personal favorite:
The Spark/Kysa Love Dagger Collaboration.

****Disclaimer****
The above was an attempt at humor, weak though it was. This post is not intended to offend or slander anyone so leave me alone. :D

Tim Herman / ATC Tactical Tomahawk

Les Robertson handmade Knife - Sole authorship (not a joint effort :D )

Emerson Swiss Army Knife

Mike Snody / Henkel designer tactical kitchen knives

Regards,

Ed

Here's one that will never happen: Microtech/Victorinox Swiss Army Tactical folder with a plunge lock mechanism.

I'd LOVE to see my REKAT Sifus with a large round Spyderco opening hole, and the same excellent QC that Spyderco has.:).

I'd love to see the axis lock on other brands of knives. I like the benchmade products, but would like to see what other manufacturers and custom makers could do with the axis.

how about a hibben/frost collaboration? h.s.n. is a dream come true...

:barf: ;)

peace.

ThinkOfTheChildren nailed it for me. The features I most covet are the Emerson Wave, the Spyderco Hole, and the Benchmade Axis Lock. I would love to see those features combined on a whole bunch of tacticals! :D

My first candidates for this combination would be the REKAT Sifu.

And while I'm dreaming, can I request a CRK Sebenza-type design with a 4" drop-point recurve blade, Spyderco Hole, and Emerson Wave?

How about a Case and Les Robertson line of Tacticals with all Jigged bone handles. :p

AFCK with an Axis Lock and ROUND Spyder hole.(for real)

Tim Herman/Paracelsus Sliver collab.

Jerry Busse/Cold Steel fighting Bowie folder collab.

OH! and how about a Les Robertson/CRK&T folder collab. for good measure.:p

BM -Axis lock, Brend #2 blade, brushed Ti bolsters and stag scales-- offered in 3 and 4" blade lengths. Thanks

CS SRK in 154CM

LizardKing, I really like the idea of the Spyderco SAK. I could see myself spending significant amounts of money there.

All of these are good and I agree, Spydie hole, Axis lock and Wave would be incredible but on the other end of the spectrum....... I would like to see Case make a full line of ATS-34 or 154CM bladed knives and like nifrand said, jigged bone handles too.

How 'bout a Waved D/A LCC with Axis lock and Spyderhole.

Oooh, or better yet, a Busse built Spyderco Mouse.
Now that would be a tank...;)
Send one to Cliff if it's made...
