My friend Daniel came over to the shop today. I had offered to take some pictures of his work because the pictures he has taken in the past simply don't do his work justice!!

I have worked with Daniel for years and he is a VERY GOOD knifemaker! We both worked together for about 3 years when I worked for Bob Dozier and I saw him on a pretty regular basis when I worked for A.G. Russell.

He does some very CLEAN work.

Check out these pictures....

This is his Model 1, I will let Daniel fill in the details/stats.

So they you have 'em! Dan will post on here tonight.

Thanks for looking!

Tom

Been seeing Dan's work a couple of places. He is still working for Bob Dozier (his stepdad) I believe.

Question--for those of us that want to place an order with Dan. How do we do that?

Dan?

:thumbup:Just saw a Model 5 clip point, 4.0" blade over at Vintage Knives. Man it set my heart to thumping! Excellent lines and great looks. Loved the horizontal kydex sheath.

Those look great, I especially like the model 4. You can easily see the Dozier influence.

Many thanks to Tom for taking time out to shoot these high quality pics for me. Of course you already know he's that kind of guy.
The model 1 is .125" thick D-2 blade 3.25" long. It's handled in stabilized Tiger myrtlewood with stainless screws and liner. The model 4 is .100" thick D-2 3.125" long. The handle is black canvas micarta with brass hardware. I also have some CPM D-2 I'm going to make a few knives out of.
