I know these threads aren't everyone's favorites, but this is a price range I very rarely find myself in and thus have probably overlooked somethings. Also, I haven't handled any of the knives in this price range so it would be nice to get some input from more knowledgeable members.

Here's a few things I am looking for:
  • blade length between 3.25" and 3.5"
  • I enjoy bearing systems and flippers (have a Whaleshark and HTM Gunhammer already)
  • Around $350 (hopefully not much higher)
As you can see, I'm not too selective. I'm really hoping to make my first foray into the midtech arena so there's a SNG CC on the exchange that seems appealing. Regardless, I would love to hear everyone's input.

If you want the SNG pick it up.

My suggestion would be a CRK Sebenza or Spyderco Southard.

I'm a bit conflicted as to whether the SNG is a knife I really want or one of those knives that "you should have". It's hard to distinguish to two in my mind. I would ideally like to get a large Sebenza but its a bit outside the price range. I know a small one won't do it for me, I really can't take to smaller knives anymore. I was strongly considering the Southard as well. Was looking for something a little more exclusive though.

If the Sebenza is what you really want I say just bite the bullet and buy it cuz if you don't you'll probly still think about it and eventually buy it anyways

OT, but Strider sucks.

I don't understand this--the only exclusive knives would be customs, no? Did you mean expensive? I know more people that own Sebenzas than Southards. Also, if you're a flipper fan, out of your list the Southard would seem like the way to go. Maybe one of the ZTs? How about a ZT 0561 if you don't like the smaller, lighter Southard?
