Crown Stag Miniature

I've been seeing some miniatures posted here recently so I thought I'd add one I just finished to the mix.

A customer sent the small crown and asked that I make him one like I had made a few years back. The blade is satin finished 1084, with nickel silver guard and butt cap. The guard and cap have been file worked and polished in the relieved areas and satin finished on the flats.

Here it is without anything to give perspective.

Here it is with a silver dollar.

Love ti. My criteria for a good miniature knife is whether it would look good in a full sized version. This one would look great.

Thanks Guys! I like to keep as much natural character in the materials as I can. It's fun making something look bigger then it really is. I do one of these every now and then as a distraction, and they do just that.
