I started putting this knife together back in November but kept running into problems with the way things were fitting so I just set it aside and forgot about it. I picked it up on New Years Day and was able to make things work this time. It has a 5" 1084 blade, iron fittings, and an unknown piece of crown stag for the handle. Pretty sure its from somewhere in Europe. I forgot to measure the overall measurement but it can't be more than 10" if that. Anymore since I started making this new style sheath I end up making the sheath before the knife is 100% finished. Really enjoying the leather work now.

VERY slick little package Ray! I like the crown stag and the wet formed sheath fits it perfectly.

Looks like a great cutter - nice taper on that blade. That Scandinavian style sheathwork is very nice too, compliments the knife beautifully.

Thats a great package Ray, the knife and sheath go together perfectly and it looks like it ready for any chore. I really like the way the knife lays in the sheath.:thumbup:

That's a beauty Ray!

And to hear that YOU a enjoying sheath work is a big surprise (knowing how you disdained it for so long), but the results are obvious --- these last sheaths are very cool. This one is especially nice.
