So in the last month I've added 4 Spyderco knives to my EDC rotation. Prior to this I didn't own a single Spyderco knife.

I added in this order:

Tenacious green G10
Dragonfly II British Racing Green ZDP-189
Manix 2 lightweight translucent blue
Endura Wave Navy blue VG10

I'm simply pleased with all levels of quality that these 4 knives offer. The Tenacious being the cheapest, still feels like a great knife. I'm still wanting a few more...well a lot more to be honest.

What are the must have Spyders?

I'm thinking I still need a Delica or maybe a PM2?

Nice collection, modest.

Don't worry, all of us started with just one or two and had a dozen within a years time. I think a Caly 3.5 would round out your stable quite nicely. Then again, you can't go wrong with a Para 2. Decisions, decisions. :p

You need to add:

-ParaMilitary 2
-Gayle Bradley
-Stretch (I find them to feel much better in the hand than the Endura4, personall)

Those three are my favorite right now, though I do still enjoy the Endura and Delica a good deal.

I also started a few months back, and it's been all downhill for my pocketbook since!

I'm in the same boat as you, modestglock26, and "Crud.. I think I'm hooked" is exactly how I'd put it.

The following is my recent purchase history, and even my choices bear a similarity to yours:

  • 2012.05.30 - Spyderco Byrd Raven
  • 2012.06.12 - Spyderco Dragonfly2 ZDP-189
  • 2012.06.14 - Spyderco Barong
  • 2012.06.19 - Spyderco Endura Emerson BayouShooter
  • 2012.06.24 - Spyderco Kiwi2
  • 2012.06.28 - Spyderco P'kal
  • 2012.07.01 - Spyderco Salt I
  • 2012.07.01 - Spyderco Leafstorm

I've had a Spyderco Byrd Raven which served me very well since 2009. Having liked the model so much, I picked up a newer generation model recently. Having been further impressed by the newer generation, I ventured into Spyderco Spyderco territory -- and so set me on a recent spree obtaining Spydercos.

I'm now on the lookout for a Spyderco Superleaf (which would perhaps compare to your Manix) at a good price, but as for a recommendation on a next knife, I have to say the Spyderco Salt I impressed me enough to seriously consider the Spydero Delica. I might however try my hand at a Benchmade Mini Griptilian (555HG) instead since the two models are very similar and my Salt I is practically a Delica.

Now that a nice 1st post!!
Welcome to bladeforums and welcome to the Spyderco club.
PM2 is a must for sure.

Thanks ya'll! I admit I've added a few other non-Spyders to the mix as well.

Also picked up:
ZT0350
Kershaw Tyrade 1850 Titanium/carbon fiber with composite blade
Kershaw Blur on its way as we speak
Robbie Dalton Street Assassin

Between the stuff I've fondled and bought, I feel the Spyderco line and the Kershaw line feel the best to me.

I keep finding myself on knifeworks.com looking at all the Spydercos I want. The Endura was given to me as a gift and I like the size of it and the wave feature is pretty neat.

The Manix 2 feels like an extension of my hand. It fits me perfectly and I find myself wanting to carry it the most.

I don't think a Delica would add anything to your collection, but I would echo the Para 2 recommendations.

Para2 is a must have and the Gayle Bradley is one that you will either love or hate, not to many people who are in between on that knife. I personally love my Gayle Bradley.

The Para2 is the most-recommended knife, but since you already have the Tenacious and Manix you would either find that you don't need the Para2 or you would don't need the Tenacious and Manix. The Military OTOH is significantly different because of its size. The Sage is also different because of its size so my recommendation would be a Military and/or a Sage.
