Scott just completed two new "Primitive Series" knives out of CruForge V. The Pygmy is the smallest knife in the series, has a hammer-marked steel handle, and comes with a leather shealth. The sheath pictured is a horizontal crossdraw, but a verticle sheath could be made as well. We tried Kydex with this model, but the Pygmy prefers leather due its curvaceous nature. Similar spearpoint or droppoint models could easily be dressed in Kydex.

The Bushmaster is a true chopper. Scott forged this blade hoping to claim it for himself, but whether I'll let him keep it is yet to be seen:) We did some testing prior to completing the knife, and the results were impressive. This Bushmaster comes with a black/burgandy Micarta handle and a stamped/dyed leather sheath, but other options are available.

Fine knives and matching leather.( I'm a big fan of that little "Pygmy," in particular.

Nice pieces both - that chopper looks like it could handle anything. Good to see some Cru Forge V put to use.

Liking both of these very much. That chopper's something else though. Nice!
I like the sheath work too. Put a smile on my face for being so bold.

Thanks everyone. Stuart, I appreciate the complement, but I can not hold a candle to your sheath work.

Here is a photo my wife neglected to add that I thought you might enjoy. I thought we should change the name of the Pygmy to the Cannibal. Three people used it over the Holidays and it cut all of us, my wife twice.

I really like them both! And the Osage bow too!

I have found some old Osage trees on my bow hunting property with the lower branches that are dead, so I have been cutting off pieces to use as knife handles! Cool stuff!

My EDC is one of Scott's knives they are well designed expertly ground and SHARP!!!
A bladesmith to keep your eye on. And if you are lucky enough, your hand on one of his knives. Keep op the good work Scott!

I'm with Karl. Us traditional bowyers have got to stick together.

Good looking knives also, but a bigger picture of your bow would be awesome. (Appears to be Hedge?)

Alright traditional bowyers, this one's for you. My wife helped me post a blog about the bow today, so if you want to read about it go to our Guinea Hog Forge blog. I've included some pictures from the blog below. I hand-crafted the bow out of black locust, and it has a walnut riser. I made it for myself, but it now belongs to my wife.
