Crummy knives you just can't part with

Have you ever been given a knife that's pretty much only good for decoration, but you just can't part with it because of the person that gave it to you and the fact that their intentions were good? I have a few of those...

I haven't received one, but a friend of mine was given a knife by her boyfriend that definitely falls under that category. It's hidden inside a tube of lipstick, and you have to unscrew it to access the blade

Yep, a good friend of mine gave me this one about a year ago. I actually kind of like it to be honest.

I asked my girl to bring me back a knife from Iran. I was thinking something traditional, something manufactured locally. She got me a black Victorinox knock-off, the most awful knife ive ever seen. Its stashed away in the bottom of my junk drawer, ill never place it among my other knives, but i cant get myself to throw it away. Her intentions after all were good.

Ill never ask her to buy me a knife again though.
