Hey members:
What are your thoughts on the Crusader Forge brand, any experience with the VIS-T model. How about Dwaine Carrillo knives, especially the Tripwire and the SKOR-PIN models. Appreciate any input. Thanks

Carrillos are heavy duty, open with a great sound, and have extreme wow factor. The older ones you mentioned are less embellished than the Scout or Cobra, and therefore cleaner, IMHO. Go for a damascus or double titanium model if possible. Even more rare are the Carrillo flippers. Very nice to own these, as Dwaine backs each transaction w/ personal attention. He is a pleasant man to deal with. there are Youtube vids of owners chopping wood etc. with them. (But not on Spanish Galleons, ARRGG!)

I have a crusader forge metro, i was lucky enough to get it for in the 500 range about a year & a half ago,but ive seen them going for around 700 & up lately.they are not too easy to get. they are very well made, but also not the most easily carried knife either.definitely very cool knife....

They are good overbuilt knives. If you're into the overbuilt knives, you'll most likely enjoy them. I really like Carrillo's designs, if I had the money, I'd take one over a Hinderer (please don't stone me!).

I've been watching tuffthumbz videos for a while and that crusader forge he has looks beautiful. Its really such a great looking knife, but I don't think anyone is buying them for their EDC'ing ability.
