Crusader Subhilt

Just finished this one. Called it the Crusader for the Cross of ST George that the subhilt makes with the red liners. This one is 14 3/4 inched long made with 440C and desert ironwood burl. Many thanks to Mr Johnson for his video teachings. First time I have ever managed to get a solder joint to look good. I used hidden internal pins so all you see on the handle is the ironwood. This one will be headed to Mr Cooper once I have a sheath made. Hopefully he can work his usual magic.

I too, am a sucker for subhilts, have a penchant for Ironwood, and have but one lonely Vanderkolff in my collection. Do send this piece of fighting iron to a good home! My door is always open.:D :thumbup::thumbup:
