I had been going through the Busse for sale items thinking about picking up another piece of INFI....and I had a phone call that informed me a long waited for item was being held for me to come pick up and pay for.

I cried. :(

No new Busse for me right now...I had to go drop coin on this instead....I thought it was a fair substitute. :D I had to share....LOL

No these are not my photo's. My little sister has my camera and as soon as she returns in I'll take my own photos but these get the point across. I put about 250 rounds through it yesterday. Recoil feels so light even with hot loads!!

P.S - I DID however buy my BATAC Chuddy Bear Sheath with fire loop!!

Ooooh that purtttty... What kind of trigger did you get?

My only complaint about HK's is that some of them have just "ok" triggers.

Its probably just your great pics, but that one good looking pistol.

Its the V3 DA/SA. Believe it or not, the trigger is very very nice. I own some pretty high end side arms I use for 3 gun matches such as STI .40 Edge, USPSA Single Stack .40 and a STI Trojan 5 in .45. While not as crisp as an STI...it isn't something I'd complain about. I am seriously thinking about shooting a few matches with it. If I do I'll probably shoot as is and skip the trigger work.

I do believe it, because some of them I've shot have been as good as Custom Shop 1911's or my well used SigP229. I just have never understood why they dont make all of them with good to great triggers, HK has the capability so they should!

Youre next pictures better have a matching Busse with them!

Happy Shooting! And Congradulations!

Is the widget below the hammer some sort of decocking device?

Rick

I believe it would be the magazine release. Probably ambidextrous... After another look, might be set up for just RH. Looks like a dream to shoot.

(answering my own question)

Yes, it apparently is.

Yes sir, that is the de-cocker. That was the first thing I tested and it works as advertised.

The trigger is very nice and recoil is hard to describe. I'd rate it somewhere around the recoil of a 22LR. Does NOT feel like a 9 at all. Maybe I'm just so used to shooting .40 or .45 I expected a slight kick for recoil. I wish I were exaggerating...I'm not. One of the Rangermaster fired it and his opinion the high axis in the grip has a lot to do with the recoil reduction.

Look at the third photo and you can see the ambi magazine release there. It's a paddle type unit and works well with either hand.

Well, that'll teach me, LOL... :o:o :D ...But I do like the pistol, man it is sweet!

EDITED to add: Whoops, misread the post, LOL man, I'm losin' it! Eyes read "hammer", Brain farted "trigger"... Jeez, I need another cup of coffee... Or a new BRAIN! :o

Are you crazy? Everyone knows a 9mm won't stop a grandma on a walker. :D :p

Nice pistol. H&K's are some durable pea shooters.

Well, maybe poodles that are already tranquilized... :D

I'm actually a fan of the 9mm. Bring it on, you .45 freaks!!!
:p

How does the grip feel? One of my complaints with my polymer framed Walther P99 is that it gets a little slick. Also does that have the interchangable backstrap?

I actually own a P99 and world difference in "slick factor." On a hot summer day here in Texas with palms sweating I always have that feeling like the P99 is going to go flying out of hands. :p (shoot a lot of outdoor ranges) The grip is very comparable in the high grip and point ability. The grip is freaky sweet. It fits better then any gun I have handled previous. The interchangeable backstrap is one factor....the interchangeable SIDE PANELS are even better!! With three different backstraps and three different side panels I doubt there is a hand out there that couldn't find a config that fit their hand. See the photo below.

Very nice !! I'm waiting for these to get to Canada.. in the meantime I'm deciding if I need more Busse or a Nighthawk 1911 :D:cool:

Interchangeable side panels. WOW what will they think of next. I'm going to have to add this gun to the list. The wife was looking at a XD in 9mm but I'm going to have her look at this before she makes a final decision. Thanks for the info. If you don't mind me asking what did it cost?

800. Not cheap but in my opinion....worth every penny.

Go BIG (.45) or go home.
