Cryo 2 Detent

Scratched an itch by getting a Cryo 2, and I noticed that it looks like there's a detent hole in the blade,
Does anybody know if the Cryo 2 is deassistable?
 
Neither of my two have that hole. Take your bar out and give it a try.
 
No there's no hole in the blade for the ball to go into so the only thing holding the blade in the handle is the torsion bar.
 
Mine Has a hole and detent ball but when my torsion bar broke i carried it de-assisted awhile till they sent me another. There was hardly any blade retention you could just barely shake it and the blade would come out. I wouldn't do it unless your gonna drill out the hole more to give you more retention.
 
Thanks Funzy12, It looked like the ball went into the detent hole, but I wasnt sure if it the detnet would keep the blade in
