When googling the Kershaw Cryo 1555TI I get two different images/listings in the same search. One with the thumb stud locking up against the frame and one that does not. The kershaw site (http://kershaw.kaiusaltd.com/knives?search=hinderer) does not list any with this feature. Heres a knifecenter listing that does: http://www.knifecenter.com/item/KS1...ch-Plain-Blade-Rick-Hinderer-Framelock-Design Are they actually different models? Personally I can't see having a Hinderer design that does not have this feature. Thanks.
 
I think the one with the thumb studs up against the frame is a prototype. The other one where they don't touch the frame, is the actual production model.
 
I've had a few Cryos, and they've all looked the same. Like this one...
