So... about a week ago, when closing the blade on my Cryo, I felt a small pop. The torsion bar had broken.
I send a request to Kershaw's warranty department, and a few days later, a shiny new replacement torsion bar shows up in my mailbox. A few turns of some Torx screws later, my Cryo is back in service. All is right in the world again.

Interestingly enough, even with a cracked torsion bar, the knife still closed securely. Instead of engaging through the first 90°, it only had tension through the first 20-30°. It wouldn't propel the blade open, but it would hold it closed securely. The effect was almost like having a manual flipper Cryo without having to drill a detent hole.
