Cryo treating sandvik 12c27

Hi all, Is there anyone on this forum who works with Sandvik 12c27 stainless? If so, I have a question.
When doing the cryo treatment on the above steel, does it need to be done immediately after the quench or can it be left till later?

Best if you ask questions like this in the Knifemaker's area, but yes - it needs to be done immediately after quench.

You can do it at any time, but, as Matt says, you will get the best benefit from it if it's done immediately after quench.
