id like to see a american law man with grivory handle and bead blasted blade with the cs thumb plate opener, whos with me? anyone?

I'm pretty happy with the current flavor. About all I would do is soften up the backspring so its a little easier to open. I'd leave it pretty much as is. I like both G10 and FRN (aka Grivory). JMO. :)

Not a fan of the Grivory, unless there are some substantial savings involved. I like the current build, but wish they would lose that black teflon finish.

Bead blast finishes tend to tarnish quickly if you don't take constant care of them. I'd prefer a satin or stone wash finish. Other than that, I think the current configuration of the Lawman works nicely.

I'm not sure if switching g10 for grivory is a good idea strengthwise.
On the other hand thumbplates must be the best opening device i've ever come across. If i would make a custom ripoff of the lawman i would use thumbplate, cpm154 steeel... make the rear choil a little smaller for my tiny fingers and maybe switch the g10 for titanium or something fancy. Blade finish would probably be mirror polish. Also zero edge flat grind.

well they use the grivory handles on some of there larger folders geared towards fighting, would they use grivory on those blades if they werent pretty tough. mini raja has the same lock and grivory scales and is 49 bucks, give me a lawman in grivory for 49 bucks , ill buy that all day long.
