CS American Lawman,Thumbstud Adjustment?

Does anybody know how that's supposd to work?
I just got my new Lawman today and wanted to change it to lefty setup.Clip worked,but the thumbstud just spins around when you try to screw it in/out but doesn't move in either direction.Thumbstud is now rattling around also.

You have to hold the back side to keep it from spinning. I would imagine the short side is like a little bolt and the thumb stud is the nut and it locks down on the blade to keep it in place.

Just figured that out and put it on in the lefty direction.
Initially I was under the impression it would be one screw,saw it on youtube or on the forums that someone mentioned that.But it's a regular thumbstud like benchmades for example.
