Found it in a store here.

It's very quite heavy.

Would you pick it over an aluminium or wooden bat?

To what end? Hitting baseballs? Breaking stuff? Completing a Sopranos costume?

I have a perfectly good Louisville Slugger, no real need for a novelty plastic tacticool bat... YMMV

I dig the CS smasher:thumbup:, it won't warp, crack , or break. I keep mine in the trunk with my glove;).

I picked up an African Walking Stick and a Smasher. i don't know if it would make a great bat, but both of them are serious impact weapons.

Perfect for converting into a nail bat, I suppose. No grain to split.

I prefer a plain old 36" pry-bar. No political garbage attached if you hit someone with it.
(I can see the newspapers now, "man seriously injured with pry-bar, ban of "heavy things" being discussed.")

I have one of the CS bats. Never tried hitting a ball with it so don`t know how it`s for that purpose.. I use it for heavy weapon impact training. Meaning I hit the tirestack with it and for that purpose it works well. Heavy and can take some serious beating.

I picked up both of those too, along with a pair of their Escrima sticks. I keep them in my home office just in case of any uninvited visitors.
