CS Chaos - Kansas legal?

So this is a bit of an interesting dilemma to be in. In the state of Kansas daggers and other types of knives are legal, but metal knuckles remain illegal. So how does a knife like the Cold Steel Chaos factor in for carry purposes?

While I can't point to a specific court ruling, I would say the risk of prosecution is extremely high. The Cold Steel Chaos and other so-called "trench knives" are fundamentally knuckle-dusters that just so happen to have a knife blade attached.

And before anyone claims the CS Chaos isn't "metal knuckles" because the guard is plastic, that's actually not true. It's 6061 aluminum.

But, I hardly think attaching a dagger to a set of metal knuckles is going to help your situation if you get charged.
