Sent in a Master Tanto San Mai/brass for sharpening(tip was damaged) to CS. They not only sharpened it, but also shined up the brass and sent my $5.00 check back! I know OP complain about their customer service but they have always been good to me.

that's awesome . I've been meaning to send in my scimitar folder but didn't want to be without it for too long.

as far as CS's CS goes, I've never had an issue either!
