CS Desperado or Peacekeeper -- Any Reviews?

I've never seen a review for these knives. Does anyone have either? Is the strange grip on the former a help or hinderance? What's the balance like? At about $35 it looks like it would make a great knife to keep in the back of a car. I'd also consider the Peacekeeper; both are 420 and not likely to rust.

I have both and they are great. No complaints here. The Desperado and Vaquero Grande are excellent at sawing through just about anything.
 
With such a wide variance in the two steels, there should be a variance in performance. With two otherwise identical blades, they would be a good base for comparisons.
