So I decided to start experimenting on my CS GI Tanto, as it is such a cheap knife. I am planning to take off the tanto blade, and I thought...what about a recurve? So I did a little photoshop mockup of what the mod might look like. Thoughts?

Since the saber grind of the CS GI Tanto follows a straight line (maybe "horizontal" is a better word), are you going to make that saber grind "recurved" (stay equidistant from the edge along the length of the blade)?

I think I would try. I see both from knife makers. I imagine keeping the angle of the grind consistent would make a better knife and a more difficult mod.
