Is the Frontier Hawk the same as the Plainsman?

Or has the Plainsman been discontinued?

The Plainsman has been discontinued. It is closer to the Rifleman in size/weight & has a hammer poll (flat hardened section of poll) unlike the Frontier. Here is a pic of a Plainsman that I modified.

That looks great, Brian! What did you do to strip off the paint?

Thanks, numberthree. I took the easy route & used paint stripper. I don't remember the exact brand but there was some mention of citrus on the label.
